10mm Trubore glass bearing with 35/20, 35/25 spherical joint. Bearing is for use with aluminum packing box in low positive pressure and vacuum applications. Using the graphite-impregnated PTFE packing and ACE Stir-Lube, pressures down to 7 microns have been obtained at 170rpm, using only a mechanical pump. Speeds over 1000rpm are not advisable due to heat generated. Indefinite packing life. Frequent tightening of the packing box is unnecessary once the packing has run in. The high vacuum lubricant trap adapter prevents lubricant from running into stirred material. Use with precision ground, 10mm stirring shaft.

30mm Safety Collar, Nylon. Designed to be placed on the stirrer shaft directly above the bearing. The collar provides protection against the stirrer shaft dropping and hitting the bottom of the vessel. The collar also acts as a dust cover and permits the stirrer to be positioned off the bottom of the vessel. Supplied complete with one each CG-2049 PTFE gasket of the corresponding size.
